May God bless your time in Junior Church this morning as you go to discover the good news and the joy of Jesus.

All: May Jesus fill your hearts with love.

Collect

O Lord, we beseech you mercifully to hear the prayers of your people who call upon you; and grant that they may both perceive and know what things they ought to do, and also may have grace and power faithfully to fulfil them; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit one God, now and for ever. Amen

Alternative Collect

Lord of creation, whose glory is around and within us: open our eyes to your wonders, that we may serve you with reverence and know your peace at our lives’ end, through Jesus Christ our Lord.    Amen                     

For our schools: : We pray this week especially for Ashtree School, for the children, their families, the teachers and all school staff. We pray at the beginning of a new school year for those starting school for the first time, those beginning secondary schools and University students beginning a new stage of their lives, may they all find enrichment in both teaching and learning. We also pray for our toddler group that they will return refreshed and looking forward to a new term, and for Bridge Builders and the work they do in schools including the REach project.

Please pray for the newly baptised

We remember the sick and the housebound who are listed by name in our prayer list and all those we know and love.

We pray for the souls of those departed this life.

We also pray for the Christian Police Association; the Living Room; the Haven and Shephall Children’s Center.

Let us include in our prayers this week, Woodlands View and all nursing homes, all who live there and all who work there.
