  • The next Friends of St Mary’s Coffee Morning is at 10:00 am on Saturday 6th April  in the Parish Room. Come along to enjoy coffee, cake and a chat with a Bring and Buy stall. All welcome.
  • Quiz Nite

    We have a social and fund raising quiz in church on Saturday 27th April, 7.00pm for 7.30pm start. All proceeds go to St Mary’s Church.  Entrance fee is £3 per head, teams of six or just come along and Elaine will put you in a team. Bring your own drinks and nibbles and there will of course be a raffle. Why not encourage your friends and see if you can make up a team, the more the merrier.     Good Friday 29th March      10.30am Walk of Witness. Meeting at Fairlands (football) car park. Ending with a service at the Joyride statue at 11.15am

    12.00-3.00pm Devotional Service based on the last seven words of Jesus from the cross. A service of readings, prayer, music, silence.

    Easter Day 31st March         10.00am Family Communion with Easter egg hunt for children.

    Easter Monday 1st April        Pilgrimage to St. Albans Abbey for 3.00pm service.

This year’s Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is on Sunday 14th April following the morning service. We aim to start at 11.30am. All on the Electoral Roll (ER) are eligible to vote; if you are not on the Electoral Roll but would like to be please let Sarah, Elaine or Vivienne know and we can give you the form to fill out. The criteria for being entitled to be on the ER is that you are baptised, over 16 years of age, are a member of the Church of England or a Church in communion with it, live in the parish of St. Mary Shephall or you have habitually attended worship in the last 6 months.
